With his victory at the Gunung Geulis Golf Invitational, Chonlatit Chuenboonngam has risen to the top of the Asian Development Tour's Order of Merit..

Before coming to the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022, golfers on the Asian Development Tour (ADT) will compete in 2 tournaments in Indonesia. The first event is the Gunung Geulis Golf Invitational which had a total prize money of $100,000 ended with the victory of Chonlatit Chuenboonngam.

The Thailand golfer won by 7-stroke difference with the second place after rounds of 66 - 64 - 67 - 68 strokes to reach a total score of 15 under par. Chonlatit Chuenboonngam has been competing on ADT since 2019 but this is his first win, this season he has participated in 7 events and his best achievement is 2nd place at the Blue Canyon Open back in May. Chonlatit’s victory at the Gunung Geulis Golf Invitational brought him $17,500 and he rose to the top of ADT's Order of Merit with $29,000. Chonlatit Chuenboonngam will come to Danang to participate in the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022.

 

The person who was leading the Order of Merit before this week's tournament was Chinese golfer Chen Guxin with 68 strokes on the final day, a score that helped him salvage a disappointing third-round result to rank T5 overall. Chen Guxin will also come to Da Nang at the end of August.

 

The next event on ADT will be the BNI Ciputra Golf Prenuer Tournament ADT, then after that is the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022, which will take place from August 29th to September 2nd at BRG Danang Golf Resort with a total prize money of $75,000. The tournament will gather 144 golfers, including 22 golfers from Vietnam, VGS Group is the organizer and live-broadcast the tournament.
