VGS Group signed contract with ADT to organize the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022

VGS Group will be the organizer and live broadcaster of the professional golf tournament of the Asian Development Tour - BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022.

From August 28^th to September 2^nd, Danang City People's Committee will organize the Danang Golf Tourism Festival 2022. The festival will include 10 activities, in which the focus is on the golf tournament brought by the Asian Development Tour (ADT) with the name “BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022” and other activities such as press conference, welcome party, golf tournaments in Danang Golf Tourism Week 2022, the international golf conference 2022.

On the morning of July 22^nd, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Danang City - Mr. Tran Phuoc Son had a meeting with the Organizing Committee of Danang Golf Tourism Festival 2022 with relevant agencies and units on the preparation for the event.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Tran Phuoc Son said, this is the first time the Danang Golf Tourism Festival will be held in Danang and the city has had experience in organizing international sports event.

Therefore, the city wishes that through this event, it will promote the image of Danang as a destination for golf tourism and other activities to contribute to creating a highlight for Danang tourism.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Phuoc Son and representatives of departments and sectors witnessed the Department of Tourism, BRG Group and Vietnam Golf Service Joint Stock Company (VGS Group) signing a memorandum of remember cooperation; Asian Tour Company, BRG Group and VGS Group signed a contract to host the event. VGS Group will be the organizer and live-broadcaster of the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022.

Previously, the People's Committee of Danang City contacted ADT to invite to host a tournament in Danang, with a sponsor named BRG Group. BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 will take place at Nicklaus course of BRG Danang Golf Resort from August 30^th to September 2^nd, sponsored by the Vietnam Golf Association. The tournament is expected to have 144 international and Vietnamese professional golfers participating, competing in 3 rounds with a total prize money of 75,000 USD.
